Computer Manager Player Settings
Managers in the non NetPlay Strat
leagues have a tremendous amount of flexibility when it comes to
defining player usage.
A player such as Miguel Cabrera or Ryan Braun might benefit from
the following settings.
Don't bunt, Don't hit and run, Don't steal if held, Don't PH for
vs. lefties, Don't PH for vs. righties, Remove for def sub with
lead
For pitchers, Jake Arrieta might have something like this:
Max 7 IP for start, IBB less with this pitcher
A card like Aroldis Chapman might benefit from these
settings.
Avoid using during blowout,
Avoid using before 9th inning, Max of 1 to 2 IP in relief
The computer manager also allows managers to remove pitchers
based on runs scored, fatigue, and pitch count. These are also
helpful tools for valuable reliever cards with less than 50 IP
totals.
